Machine gunner
The 23rd separate mechanized brigade is a mechanized formation within the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023, and is currently actively participating in combat operations and ensuring the implementation of national security and defense measures, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in one of the hottest areas. The units are equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment, which allows them to effectively perform combat missions in modern conditions. The personnel of the brigade undergo intensive training, including training according to NATO standards, which increases their combat capability and professionalism. Since its creation, the brigade has been actively participating in combat operations, which allows it to accumulate valuable combat experience. Due to its structure and equipment, the brigade is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and perform a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- providing fire support for sniper or infantry groups during operations
- performing tasks to hold positions, cover snipers during withdrawal or movement
- using a machine gun to neutralize enemy equipment
- monitoring the technical condition of the machine gun, its maintenance and preparation for combat
- participating in reconnaissance and combat operations.
Requirements
- military training or relevant service experience will be an advantage
- knowledge of combat tactics and machine gun operation will be an advantage
- high physical fitness and endurance
- ability to work in a team, discipline and readiness to act in conditions of increased danger
- readiness for long-term work in field conditions
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or service under a contract
- monetary support from 20,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on the task and place of service (for every 30 days of combat missions + 70,000 hryvnias)
- full state support
- guaranteed initial training for people who have not served before, for a period of 1 month
- 30 days of paid vacation per year
