Armored vehicle maintenance mechanic
The 23rd separate mechanized brigade is a mechanized formation within the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023, and is currently actively participating in combat operations and ensuring the implementation of national security and defense measures, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in one of the hottest areas. The units are equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment, which allows them to effectively perform combat missions in modern conditions. The personnel of the brigade undergo intensive training, including training according to NATO standards, which increases their combat capability and professionalism. Since its creation, the brigade has been actively participating in combat operations, which allows it to accumulate valuable combat experience. Due to its structure and equipment, the brigade is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and perform a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- performing technical accounting of the condition and functionality of armored vehicles, automotive equipment, diagnostics and detection of malfunctions
- carrying out repair work, maintenance and preventive measures to ensure the normal operation of equipment
- maintaining documentation on work performed, detected malfunctions, replaced spare parts and materials used
Requirements
- higher or secondary specialized education in the field of automotive or technical maintenance
- experience in the field of technical maintenance or repair of equipment is desirable
- age from 18 years
- ability to perform work carefully and responsibly, adhering to technical standards and safety requirements
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or service under a contract
- the possibility of transferring active military personnel with the consent of the immediate commander
- the possibility of service for candidates who, according to the conclusion of the VLK, are suitable for service in military support units, TCC and SP, VVNIZ, training centers, etc.
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, meals
- guaranteed annual basic leave + additional leave 10 days for family reasons
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries resulting from participation in hostilities
- service in an area of active hostilities
