Heavy bomber pilot
The 23rd separate mechanized brigade is a mechanized formation within the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023, and is currently actively participating in combat operations and ensuring the implementation of national security and defense measures, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in one of the hottest areas. The units are equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment, which allows them to effectively perform combat missions in modern conditions. The personnel of the brigade undergo intensive training, including training according to NATO standards, which increases their combat capability and professionalism. Since its creation, the brigade has been actively participating in combat operations, which allows it to accumulate valuable combat experience. Due to its structure and equipment, the brigade is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and perform a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- pre-flight inspection of UAVs and flight planning
- maintaining combat readiness of equipment and ammunition
- knowledge of the UAV flight operation manual, its tactical and technical characteristics and ground control stations
- performing assigned tasks (collecting intelligence information, adjusting artillery fire, observing the terrain, carrying out strikes on targets) as part of the calculation of attack bomber pilots
- orientation in the terrain
- working with maps (training is carried out in the unit)
- performing tasks at any time of the day
- testing the received equipment
Requirements
- willingness to constantly learn and improve skills
- willingness to work in an active combat zone
- high responsibility and attention to detail
- fitness for military service due to health
- sociability, stress resistance
- absence of alcohol, drug and gambling addiction
- experience working with UAVs will be an advantage
- ability to quickly master technical means
Conditions
- mobilization by the end of the military status or service under a contract
- monetary support from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the task and place of service
