Position:
Surgeon / Anesthesiologist
The 23rd separate mechanized brigade is a mechanized formation within the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023, and is currently actively participating in combat operations and ensuring the implementation of national security and defense measures, repelling and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in one of the hottest areas. The units are equipped with the latest weapons and military equipment, which allows them to effectively perform combat missions in modern conditions. The personnel of the brigade undergo intensive training, including training according to NATO standards, which increases their combat capability and professionalism. Since its creation, the brigade has been actively participating in combat operations, which allows it to accumulate valuable combat experience. Due to its structure and equipment, the brigade is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and perform a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia support for stabilization and transportation of the wounded
- Provision of emergency medical care in the conditions of the stabilization point of the unit;
- Organization of work within the stabilization point;
- Anesthesia support for stabilization and transportation of the wounded;
- Preliminary preparation of necessary drugs, materials and equipment;
- Organization of close interaction with local healthcare institutions during the performance of assigned tasks;
- Maintaining medical documentation and reporting, in particular, issuing referrals, maintaining records and medical records;
- Managing the work of medical personnel;
- Compliance with the requirements and norms of military discipline.
- Coordination of actions with related specialists to provide comprehensive medical care;
Requirements
- Work experience in a relevant position
- Complete higher education (specialist, master’s degree) in the field of training “Medicine”, specialty “Medical”. Specialization in the specialty “Anesthesiology and IT” (internship, specialization courses). Advanced training (advanced courses, internships, pre-certification cycles, etc.);
- Work experience is welcome, but not mandatory;
- High responsibility and professionalism;
- Compliance with the rules of ethics and deontology;
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with patients;
- Knowledge of medical standards, protocols and procedures;
- Ability to make decisions in stressful situations;
- Ability to work in conditions of increased physical and psychological stress;
- Suitability for military service due to health and moral and psychological qualities;
- Knowledge of foreign languages is welcome;
- Ability to use a PC at the user level;
- Military service experience is welcome, but not mandatory;
- Having an officer rank will be an advantage.
